It is a type of a device, or rather a set of devices, such as a hi-fi stereo tower or a pc. The word "maker" distinguishes it from a bioprinter. Biomaker is used to create new organisms by automating the process from programming a plasmid to growing an a living organism. The size and type of maker's incubator depends on the kind and size of produced organisms: from bacterial cultures, through plants and pets to marine mammals and reconstructed historical species.
