Re:Brick is student workshop focusing in 2013 on revitalization of two areas within the city of Gdansk, PL. I was a tutor of one othe groups that developed a proposal for Biskupia Górka area. Instead of traditional approach we ended up with 10 different micro-interventions that would istead of trying to mask the decay and social problems try to forge it into an attention magnet. They all conveyed a feeling of mystery and magic: from hidden voices and colourful smoke in the forest to secret liquor factory with special brand of vodka.       |
