I wanted a music box with a particular tune on it - Britney Spears' "Everytime". As I contacted the manufacturer it turned out the minimum order for a new tune is 300 pieces. So I decided to 3d print a drum myself and replace one from an existing music box. The workflow consisted in tailoring a midi version of the song and feeding the notes into Grasshopper script that would generate the 3d model. After several attempts with various teeth shapes I succeded in producing a fully functional music box.
